Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Weeks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Weeks! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coleman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Weeks is trying to control but can't.

Weeks creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Coleman sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Weeks blocks the strikes from Coleman.

That's one minute gone in the round. A short right from Weeks. Weeks lands a left hand that snaps the head of Coleman backwards. Weeks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Weeks lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Weeks scores with a jab to the jaw. A combination from Weeks does no damage. Coleman walks straight into an uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Weeks throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
