The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caiazzo closes the distance and clinches up with Bane, looking for a takedown. Caiazzo pushes Bane against the cage but Bane circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Caiazzo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Caiazzo looks for a takedown but Bane sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Caiazzo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Caiazzo wants to clinch up but Bane keeps it at a distance.

and Caiazzo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bane's guard.
Bane bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Caiazzo's guard.

Caiazzo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bane pushes down on Caiazzo's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Bane is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Caiazzo is just riding it out for now. Bane eventually gives up the hold.

and Bane counters with a single leg into guard. Caiazzo didn't expect that.
Caiazzo is breathing heavily.

Bane drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Bane as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Caiazzo screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Bane! Nice submission victory there!
