Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruiser Halperin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genko Humin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halperin's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Humin has chosen Raining Blood as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halperin misses the shot to the body.
Humin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Halperin but Halperin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Humin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Humin slips a jab and a cross from Halperin.
Humin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Halperin paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Halperin looks to land a combination but Humin avoids it well.
Halperin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Humin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Halperin tries to avoid it but Humin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Halperin to the ground. Halperin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Humin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Humin wants to clinch.
Humin throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Humin slips a jab and a cross from Halperin.
Halperin's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Halperin duly obliges.

Humin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Halperin fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Humin checks it well.
Halperin throws a right and a left that Humin avoids nicely.
Halperin lands with an uppercut that bounces Humin off the cage and back into rage.
Halperin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Halperin is breathing heavily.

Halperin throws a series of punches but Humin moves out of range.

Bruiser Halperin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Genko Humin.
Humin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
No joy there for Halperin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Halperin throws a nice head kick!

Halperin gets caught flat footed, as Humin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Halperin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Halperin tries to get out of the position.
Humin lands a couple of elbows.
Humin is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Humin wants to control from the top but Halperin keeps moving.
Humin stays in close to Halperin's body and controls the position.

Humin gets to his feet - Halperin follows without any prompting.
Halperin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Humin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Halperin wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Humin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Halperin trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Halperin stops Humin from passing to mount.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Halperin tries to bum rush Humin with a series of wild strikes but Humin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Halperin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Humin moves away.

Humin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Halperin swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Humin moves into the clinch successfully.
Halperin has had enough of the clinch but Humin keeps him there for the moment.

Humin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Humin misses with a takedown attempt - Halperin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Humin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Humin tries for a takedown but Halperin manages to get underhooks.

Humin goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Humin. Halperin shrugs it off though.

Humin shoots in but no luck this time.

Halperin throws a left that rocks Humin and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Halperin dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Humin regain composure!

Humin is rocked!

It looks like Genko Humin has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Halperin decides to stand back up. Halperin steps back and let's Humin get back to his feet.
Humin is still on wobbly legs! Can Halperin finish him?
Halperin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Halperin connects with a nice cross there... Humin is looking wobbly and Halperin recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Humin to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Halperin jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
