Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between kaleidos kope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tysen Fricke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Tysen Fricke enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, kaleidos kope! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tysen Fricke! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fricke throws the kick towards the body but kope avoids it. Fricke fails with a takedown attempt. Fricke fails to land the takedown. Fricke shoots in for a takedown but kope shows good takedown defense. kaleidos kope has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tysen Fricke. kope misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Fricke - that will leave a mark!
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's one minute gone in the round. kope shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. kope trying to control from half guard but Fricke is working away. Fricke taking some punishment here, with kope in his half guard. Fricke scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but kope manages to mount him!
kope has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. kope looking to finish Fricke with some ground and pound. This is bad for Fricke! kope lands a nice shot to the head. Fricke is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
BOOM! kope connects with a massive shot to the dome!
kope content just to control the position here. kope lands a nice shot to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. kope controlling from the full mount. kope is breathing heavily. Fricke is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
kope lands with some strikes. Fricke really wants to buck kope off and get back to his feet. kope trying to control but he's not successful this time. kope avoids the attempt from Fricke to control. kope is in the full mount, landing strikes. Fricke is trying to stand up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fricke regains half guard. Fricke is trying to control but can't.
kope is working for a kimura but Fricke is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. kope is trying to control. Fricke wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. kope is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fricke sees it coming and defends easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fricke is trying to stand.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. kope thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fricke's head.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fricke tries for a takedown but kope circles away easily and kope counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Fricke is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Fricke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Fricke throws the kick towards the body but kope avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
kaleidos kope dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
kope doesn't succeed with the takedown and Fricke counters with a nice low kick that buckles kope's knee momentarily. kope misses with a takedown attempt and Fricke counters with a nice double leg into guard. kope is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fricke is aware though and is defending well. Fricke trying to control the position from guard on top but kope is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fricke decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on kope, up you get! Fricke tries for a takedown but kope circles away easily and kope counters with a single leg into guard. Fricke didn't expect that. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fricke wants to stand but kope is controlling the position. Fricke is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and kope defends well. Fricke wriggles free and stands up. Fricke slaps away a takedown attempt from kope, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for kaleidos kope. That's going to take a lot out of him. kope gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fricke avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fricke passes kope's left leg - he's now in half guard. kope looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Fricke missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. kope blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fricke. Fricke wants to stand up but kope has a hold of him and won't allow it. Fricke missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Fricke lands strikes from half guard. Fricke tries to stand but his hand is stuck under kope.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fricke shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with kope but kope pushes him off and we're back to square one. Fricke shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and kope counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fricke wants to get back to his feet. Fricke misses with some strikes from the bottom.

kope wants to control but Fricke is keeping him busy. Fricke is trying to stand up here but kope is controlling him well. kaleidos kope overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Fricke has his takedown stuffed and kope counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that kaleidos kope will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
kope closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fricke to the mat! Fricke manages to get full guard. Fricke wants to stand and escape but kope is having none of it. kope stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fricke swivels though and keeps the full guard. kope prevents Fricke from getting back to his feet. kope postures up in Fricke's guard and throws a big left but Fricke blocks it. kope throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fricke works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Fricke is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Fricke with a lazy takedown attempt and kope counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Fricke! Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A nice elbow there by kope. kope has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Fricke's face.
kope lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. kope looking to control but Fricke is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. kope is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fricke is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Fricke throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Fricke is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
kope lands a heavy elbow. kope unloads with some shots from mount but Fricke bucks and avoids them well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fricke really wants to buck kope off and get back to his feet. kope landing punches. kope won't let Fricke get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. kope goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Fricke turns into him and now he's in kope's guard.
kope is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
kope has his foot on Fricke's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fricke works his way back into a safe position though. kope thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Fricke thows a big elbow that misses. kope is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. kope looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. kope shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Fricke counters with a body kick. Fricke misses with a takedown attempt - kope sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. kope decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fricke is trying to stand up here but kope is controlling him well. kope not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Fricke tries to kick kope off but kope keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. kope working the head and body with strikes. Tysen Fricke has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! kope lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. kope shoots and misses and Fricke counters with a takedown into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! kaleidos kope showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for kope, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
