Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fernando Poe Jr!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mario circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mario shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Poe Jr as he jumps to the side.
Poe Jr looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
No luck for Mario with that takedown attempt.
Poe Jr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Poe Jr is looking to clinch.
Mario with a lazy takedown attempt
and Poe Jr counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mario won't be happy with that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pizzabeacker Mario. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Poe Jr just content to control the position.
Mario gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Poe Jr is trying to control. Mario wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Mario tries to roll over but Poe Jr keeps him under control.
Mario is pressing down on Poe Jr's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Mario keeping moving, preventing Poe Jr from controlling successfully.
Poe Jr tries to free his leg and advance position but Mario is retaining full guard.
Mario has his foot on Poe Jr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Poe Jr works his way back into a safe position though.
Mario is pulling down on Poe Jr's head to control his posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Poe Jr trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Poe Jr trying to control but Mario is working from the bottom.
Mario wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Poe Jr decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Poe Jr wants to stand up but Mario is controlling the position.
Mario looking for submissions off his back.
Mario is breathing heavily.
Mario wants to get back to his feet.

Mario is not content to let Poe Jr control the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mario is looking to control Poe Jr's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mario avoid being mounted?
Poe Jr seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Mario is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
