Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wilmer Musa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Taker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Musa comes to the cage accompanied by metallica enter sandman. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wilmer Musa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Taker! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taker has taken the fight to the clinch.
Taker scores with a shot to the side of Musa's head. Musa is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Musa throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Musa wants to break the clinch but can't.
Taker has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Musa is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Taker breaks the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Musa as Taker shoots in. Musa gets caught flat footed, as Taker shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Musa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Taker swats him away and circles back towards the center. Taker misses the shot to the body. Taker throws a series of punches but Musa avoids them all with ease. Taker looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Musa! Musa tries to lock up and control but Taker gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taker throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Musa because Taker loaded up on that one. Musa is looking to improve his position but Taker isn't that keen on the idea. Musa is trying to stand up. Taker trying to control but he's not successful this time. Musa tries to hold on but Taker pushes him away. Taker throws some wild stikes that Musa manages to avoid easily.
Taker working for a guillotine from mount but Musa is in no mood to give up. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Poor strikes thrown by Taker there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Taker thowing shots but they're missing. Taker has hold of Musa's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Musa manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Nice takedown defense from Musa. No joy for Taker on that attempt. Taker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Taker throws out a powerful jab. Musa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Taker paws at him with a jab and circles away.
