Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Little BallOfHate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakuna Matata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Little BallOfHate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hakuna Matata!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matata drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
BallOfHate is looking to regain half guard here but Matata keeps moving and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Matata slows the pace down.
BallOfHate is trying to buck Matata off.
BallOfHate is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

I looks like Matata might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Matata seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but BallOfHate is holding on tight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Little BallOfHate will probably get the nod.

BallOfHate has his foot on Matata's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Matata works his way back into a safe position though.

Hakuna Matata comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Matata has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
