Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryan Bader!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eathen Stife!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stife shoots in for a double leg but Bader sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bader stuffs the takedown attempt from Stife. Stife gets slowly back to his feet.
Stife tries to clinch but Bader moves out of range.
Stife throws a series of punches but Bader avoids them all with ease.
Eathen Stife seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bader is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Stife's half guard.
Bader takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Stife wants to control but Bader is keeping busy.
Bader is nestled in close to Stife, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Stife tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Stife has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bader can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bader wants to control from the top but Stife keeps moving.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bader is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Stife had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bader defends it easily.

Bader connects with a couple of short punches.
Bader is in close to Stife's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Stife thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bader's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Bader works over Stife with some ground and pound from guard.

Bader makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Stife keeping moving, preventing Bader from controlling successfully.

Bader loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Stife is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bader is aware though and is defending well.
Bader working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Stife's head.
Bader distracts Stife with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bader cracks Stife with a solid left hand.

Bader wants to control from the top but Stife keeps moving.

Stife is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Bader rolls with it to try and escape but Stife cranks on the arm and Bader is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
