Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Action Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Andrew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrew comes into a darkened arena with his song building. New Divide kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Action Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gabriel Andrew! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Andrew's waist but Andrew gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jackson off to one side. Jackson shoots in for a double leg but Andrew sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jackson shoots for a double leg takedown but Andrew sprawls well. He's pushed Jackson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Action Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackson misses with a takedown attempt - Andrew sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Andrew is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, Andrew circles away and we're back to standing. Andrew moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Jackson shoots in but no luck this time. Jackson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Andrew.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Andrew to the mat! Andrew manages to get full guard. Jackson is breathing heavily. Jackson stops Andrew from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Andrew has his feet on Jackson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Jackson misses with a takedown attempt - Andrew sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Andrew is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andrew connects with a body shot. Andrew connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Jackson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Gabriel Andrew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A combination from Andrew does no damage. Andrew wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Jackson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Andrew.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. No luck for Jackson with that takedown attempt. Andrew throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jackson. Andrew doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
Jackson shoots in but Andrew avoids the takedown attempt easily. Andrew throws a series of punches but Jackson avoids them all with ease. Jackson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Andrew is trying to stand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andrew is defending against the submission attempts here by Jackson.
Jackson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Andrew is just riding it out for now. Jackson eventually gives up the hold. Andrew kicks Jackson off and gets back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A nice leg kick lands there from Andrew. Action Jackson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jackson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Andrew but Andrew pushes him off and we're back to square one. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Andrew scores with a three punch combo!
That's one minute gone in the round. Andrew scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Jackson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Andrew can pounce on him.
Andrew rushes Jackson and presses him up against the cage. Andrew stops a takedown attempt from Jackson.

Andrew will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Andrew is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Jackson rather than just go for the knockout.

Jackson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Andrew pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jackson keeps the fight on the outside. Gabriel Andrew is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A chopping leg kick lands by Andrew. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andrew lands a right hook to the body.
Nice body punch from Andrew. Jackson keeps the fight on the outside. Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jackson has gone for a leg lock! Andrew slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jackson's guard. Andrew would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Jackson wants to sweep here but Andrew controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andrew stands up from guard. Let's bang! Nice sprawl there from Andrew as Jackson shoots in. Andrew is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
Andrew stuns Jackson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Nice uppercut lands for Andrew. That snapped Jackson's head back.
Jackson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Andrew tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jackson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Andrew as he jumps to the side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gabriel Andrew showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Andrew as he avoids it easily. Jackson takes a body punch but keeps moving. Jackson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Andrew.
Jackson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Andrew fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Andrew closes the distance and clinches. Jackson has clasped his hands together around Andrew's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Andrew is pushing Jackson's head away, looking to escape. Jackson manages to hold on to the position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Andrew! Jackson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Andrew has worked his arm free - good work by Andrew!
Jackson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jackson prevents Andrew from escaping the position. Jackson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jackson swings around for an armbar but Andrew sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jackson's guard. Andrew won't allow Jackson to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Andrew is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jackson. Jackson tries to buck Andrew off but Andrew is having none of it. Jackson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Jackson manages to regain full guard. Nice work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jackson is on top in guard.
Jackson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jackson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jackson wants to pass the guard but Andrew is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson is pushing down on Andrew's leg trying to pass to half guard. Andrew is fighting to maintain full guard but Jackson has managed to sneak the leg through. Jackson is looking for a kimura here.
Andrew really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jackson works his way into full mount! Jackson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Andrew is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andrew wanted to stand there but Jackson had control of the position. Jackson is looking for a triangle but Andrew pushes his legs off easily.
Jackson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Andrew doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Andrew manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Jackson working for submissions but it's allowed Andrew to get to half guard.
Action Jackson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jackson flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Action Jackson. I think Andrew has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
