Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Naruto Uzumaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benten Gogul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gogul forces Uzumaki back against the cage and clinches.
Gogul successfully pulls guard.
Uzumaki wants to stand and escape but instead Gogul has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Gogul wants to control from the top but Uzumaki keeps moving.
Uzumaki on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Uzumaki tries to get out of the position.

Gogul shoots in looking for a takedown. Uzumaki tries to sprawl out of it but Gogul keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Uzumaki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gogul lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Uzumaki has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Uzumaki and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Uzumaki shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gogul's guard.
Uzumaki wants to get up but he can't break Gogul's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Gogul is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Uzumaki wanted to stand there but Gogul had control of the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gogul had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Uzumaki defends it easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gogul is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Uzumaki here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gogul seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Uzumaki does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Gogul should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Uzumaki looks up at the clock and then as Gogul takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Uzumaki smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Uzumaki, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
