Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between AJ Samison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samison's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, No Love- Eminem feat. Lil' Wayne. AJ Samison has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bobby Martin!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Martin.
Samison looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Martin stalks Samison and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Samison's face. Samison staggers backwards, shaken.
Martin closes the distance and clinches up with Samison, looking for a takedown. Martin pushes Samison against the cage but Samison circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Martin stands up over Samison, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Martin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Samison wants to get back to his feet but Martin is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Martin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Samison sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Martin is keen to just control but Samison is a slippery customer.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Samison regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Martin.
Samison keeping moving, preventing Martin from controlling successfully.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Martin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Martin tries to free his leg and advance position but Samison is retaining full guard.

Samison has his feet on Martin's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Bobby Martin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
AJ Samison has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Martin bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Martin with a flurry of punches that miss.
Martin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Martin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Samison is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Samison has escaped and now he's on top!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Martin controls Samison momentarily but Samison frees himself.

And that's the end of the fight!
AJ Samison showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Martin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
