The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farias takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Rogerio Farias has been cut.
Farias misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wukong.
Farias throws a sloppy head kick and Wukong moves out of range easily.
Wukong staying out of range there.
Farias swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Wukong scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Wukong works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wukong has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Farias is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Wukong yanks on the arm and Farias is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Wukong.
