Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hajime Bucket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Purcell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bucket comes into the arena with The Mercenary -- Iron Maiden blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Purcell fails to land the takedown.

Bucket fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Purcell, pushing him back against the cage.
Purcell tries to break the clinch but Bucket is controlling the position.

Purcell throws a series of punches but Bucket avoids them all with ease.
Bucket avoids the body shot from Purcell.

Bucket feints and as Purcell raises his hands in defense, Bucket changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Purcell has an active guard here but Bucket has managed to pass into half guard.
Purcell pushes Bucket off looking to stand but Bucket dives back in and keeps control.
Purcell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Bucket is keen to just control but Purcell is a slippery customer.
