Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Arne Georgsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akseli Hammar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Georgsen comes to the cage accompanied by O Fortuna. Hammar has chosen Matti ja Teppo - Näitä Polkuja Tallaan as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Georgsen leaves Hammar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hammar fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Georgsen lands a big uppercut and Hammar crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hammar looks OK. Georgsen waves Hammar back to his feet!

Hans Arne Georgsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akseli Hammar.
Georgsen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hammar.
Hammar moves out of range of the leg kick from Georgsen.
Hammar seems to have recovered his senses.

Georgsen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hammar is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Georgsen wants to get back to his feet but Hammar is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Georgsen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hammar on the ground.

A punch lands to the side of Hammar 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Georgsen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hammar sprawling to the canvas! Hammar rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Georgsen finish him?!

Georgsen throws a right hand that Hammar ducks under and follows up with a left that Hammar also avoids with ease.
Hammar misses with a takedown attempt - Georgsen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Georgsen lands a big uppercut and Hammar crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hammar looks OK. Georgsen waves Hammar back to his feet!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Georgsen cracks Hammar with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Hammar falls to his knees and Georgsen doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hans Arne Georgsen!
