Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Calzaghe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Miller Rossi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Luiz Miller Rossi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Calzaghe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luiz Miller Rossi! The judges for this bout are , and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Calzaghe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rossi tries to avoid it but Calzaghe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rossi to the ground. Rossi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Calzaghe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Calzaghe shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Calzaghe was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Rossi is looking to get to half guard. Rossi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Calzaghe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rossi defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Calzaghe. Rossi is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The referee warns Rossi that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rossi is bucking up trying to escape but Calzaghe cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Calzaghe looking to control and managing it successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Calzaghe connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Calzaghe dominated that round. That's time! Calzaghe's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Calzaghe wants to clinch. A head kick misses from Calzaghe. Rossi moves out of range as Calzaghe strikes. Rossi looks to clinch and Calzaghe counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Calzaghe slowing the pace effectively. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Calzaghe takes a knee to the side of the body. Rossi throws a knee to the head but misses.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Rossi with a knee to the head.

A frustrated look appears on Calzaghe's face as he tries to break the clinch. Calzaghe controlling the action here for a moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Calzaghe gets through Rossi's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Rossi tries to land a knee to the head but Calzaghe blocks with his arms.
A frustrated look appears on Calzaghe's face as he tries to break the clinch. Calzaghe displaying some good clinch control by pressing Rossi up against the cage. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Joe Calzaghe. Rossi tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Calzaghe counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Calzaghe. Calzaghe with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Calzaghe controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Calzaghe throwing strikes from guard but Rossi blocks nicely. Calzaghe looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rossi wants to get back to his feet but Calzaghe is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Calzaghe dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
The fight stays on the outside here - Calzaghe looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Calzaghe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rossi circles away quickly and effectively. Calzaghe throws a series of punches but Rossi moves out of range. Rossi tries to clinch but fails miserably and Calzaghe counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rossi won't be happy with that. Calzaghe scores with a couple of short elbows. Calzaghe throwing shots but missing, from side control. Calzaghe will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. A lull in the action here as Calzaghe stalls from top position. Calzaghe landing a few strikes. Luiz Miller Rossi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Joe Calzaghe is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
