Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roland Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and I Am BJJ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some bone on bone action there as BJJ checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. BJJ shoots in and drives through. Grant sprawls well. BJJ steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Grant. Grant scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. BJJ just misses with a punch to the body.
BJJ is looking to clinch. Grant will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A chopping leg kick lands by Grant. Nice sprawl there from Grant as BJJ shoots in.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grant darts in and out, connecting with a jab. A swing and a miss from Grant. Grant throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Grant throws a jab but it's blocked by BJJ. Grant throws a combination but it was largely blocked by BJJ. Grant tries to grapple but his opponent circles and BJJ counters with a shoot takedown. Grant fights it but they end up in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. BJJ in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Grant keeping full guard, as BJJ tries to pass. BJJ wants to control from the top but Grant keeps moving. Grant is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. BJJ works his foot free and advances to mount. BJJ jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Grant is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Grant and BJJ has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. BJJ trying to control the position but Grant is working away. Grant can't do much from the bottom here. BJJ wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Grant, who protects the arm well. BJJ laying and praying for a moment but Grant takes advantage and regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

No luck for BJJ with that takedown attempt. Grant jabs at BJJ's body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grant ducks down and throws a hook to the body. BJJ misses with a body kick. Grant tries to close the distance and clinch but BJJ swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A jab from Grant finds it's way through BJJ's defenses. Roland Grant is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Grant connects with a crisp jab. BJJ throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Grant lands an overhand right. BJJ shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Grant counters with a left and a right that stings BJJ. Grant misses with a looping left.
That's four minutes gone in the round. BJJ misses with a takedown and BJJ takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. BJJ fails with the takedown and Grant counters with a stiff right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! BJJ walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. BJJ with a poor takedown enabling Grant to counter with a crisp jab. Grant misses with a hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roland Grant dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
A looping hook to the body misses from Grant. BJJ does a little dance to reset his feet. Grant throws out a token jab with nothing on it. BJJ has his takedown stuffed and Grant counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Grant is trying to control the position but BJJ postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grant has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. BJJ tries to free his leg and advance position but Grant is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. BJJ is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Grant trying to control the position here. BJJ sitting in guard here, content to control. Grant is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. BJJ passes Grant's left leg - he's now in half guard. Grant avoiding damage under a succession of punches from BJJ. I Am BJJ has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Grant wants to control but BJJ is keeping busy and won't allow it. Grant gets full guard. Grant is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Both fighters are breathing heavily. BJJ trying to control the position from guard on top but Grant is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. BJJ pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Grant is keeping the position for now. Roland Grant is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. BJJ stands and throws Grant's legs to the side, diving into side control. Grant can't do much from the bottom here. Grant is looking to reverse the position. Grant can't do much from the bottom here. BJJ is trying to get an arm triangle but Grant is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight! Roland Grant showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Grant, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
