Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryno Venter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Try Me (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venter tries to bum rush Me with a series of wild strikes but Me uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Venter.
Venter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Me's waist but Me gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Venter off to one side.
Venter throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Try Me has been cut.
Me closes the distance and clinches up with Venter, looking for a takedown. Me pushes Venter against the cage but Venter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Me throws and elbow that misses. Venter uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Me's guard. Nice move by Venter!

Venter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Me's hands.
Me with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Venter to score with a decent uppercut.

That was a close round but I would say that Ryno Venter will probably get the nod.

Venter throws a series of punches but Me moves out of range.
Venter clobbers Me with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Venter is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
