Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryno Venter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Try Me (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryno Venter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Try Me! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Venter tries to bum rush Me with a series of wild strikes but Me uses good footwork to avoid the assault. No luck with that takedown attempt from Venter. Venter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Me's waist but Me gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Venter off to one side. Venter throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Try Me has been cut. Me closes the distance and clinches up with Venter, looking for a takedown. Me pushes Venter against the cage but Venter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Venter tries for a takedown but Me circles away easily so Me counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryno Venter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Me trying to control but Venter is working from the bottom. Venter avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Me postures up in Venter's guard and throws a big left but Venter blocks it. Me trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Venter avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Me is looking to work some ground and pound but Venter has wrist control. Venter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Venter trying to control the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Venter lands a lovely overhand right. Venter scores with a three punch combo!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Me. Me tries to score with some ground and pound. Venter controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Me in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Venter pushes Me away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Me gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Venter is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Venter struggling a bit here. Venter is trying to get back to half guard. Me lands a few punches from side control. Venter takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Venter gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Me throws a strike but Venter avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Venter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Venter utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Me with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Venter wants to sweep here but Me controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Me throws and elbow that misses. Venter uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Me's guard. Nice move by Venter! Venter is in close to Me's body, working some short punches and elbows. Venter thows a big elbow that misses. Venter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Venter prevents Me from getting back to his feet. Me looks gassed!
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Venter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Venter wants it to stay on the feet. Venter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Me's hands. Me with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Venter to score with a decent uppercut. Venter throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Me was covering up waiting for the punch and Venter finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Venter is looking to stand up but Me won't let him. Venter is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Venter loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Venter trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Venter trying to control but Me is working from the bottom. Me is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Venter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Me swivels though and keeps the full guard. Venter trying to control the position from guard on top but Me is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ryno Venter will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Try Me's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A right-left combo lands from Venter. Venter throws a series of punches but Me moves out of range. Venter clobbers Me with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Venter is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Me looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Venter! Me with the ground and pound from mount. Me throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Venter because Me loaded up on that one. Me breaks from Venter's wrist control and lands an elbow. Venter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Me tries to control but Venter wriggling away. Me looking to finish with strikes here!
Me is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Venter takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Venter regains half guard. Me thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Venter to regain full guard. Me wants to control from the top but Venter keeps moving. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Venter is on top in guard.
Me avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Me wants to get back to his feet but Venter is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Try Me has got the better of the ground game so far. Venter postures up and lands a big shot to Me's brow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Venter wanted to stand there but Me had control of the position. Venter wants to control from the top but Me keeps moving. Venter throwing strikes from guard but Me blocks nicely. Me is looking to stand up but Venter isn't so interested in that idea.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Venter misses with a takedown so Me counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Venter cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Venter dominating with strikes here. Me takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Venter putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Venter can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Me is looking to escape. Me trying desperately to get to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Try Me will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Try Me's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Venter displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Venter lands with a nice combination. Me backs away looking to recover. Venter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Me ducks right into an uppercut from Venter. Venter lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Nice shot lands for Venter. Me shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Danga de danga de dang - Venter scores with a four punch combination! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Venter thuds a left hand into Me's body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Me leaves Venter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ryno Venter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Venter connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Venter throws a hook to the side of Me's head but Me sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Me throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Venter was covering up waiting for the punch and Me finishes the takedown easily into guard. Venter trying to control the position.

Me throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Venter controls Me momentarily but Me frees himself. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Me accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Venter manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Me is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Me is in a horrible position here. Venter smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
