Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Ball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zoro Rronoa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ball comes to the cage accompanied by Malice In Wonderland. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Ball!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zoro Rronoa!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rronoa tries to clinch up but Ball circles away and keeps his distance.
Rronoa throws a nice inside leg kick.
Rronoa misses with a low kick as Ball jumps back.
Rronoa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zoro Rronoa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ball darts in and clinches Rronoa up against the cage.
Rronoa is trying to force a seperation but Ball has the dominant position.
Ball misses with a hook to the ribs.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ball.
Rronoa connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Jimmy Ball has been cut.
Ball pushes Rronoa back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Ball misses with a punch on the inside.
Ball tries to work over Rronoa's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Rronoa throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ball blocks it with crossed arms.
Ball lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rronoa backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ball creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ball throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Rronoa looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ball misses with a punch on the inside.

Rronoa tries to land a knee to the head but Ball blocks with his arms.
Ball wants a takedown.
Ball lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Ball lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Ball lands a left hand.
A head punch on the inside from Ball fails to land.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Ball pushes Rronoa back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Ball lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Ball perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Ball throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Ball controlling the action here.
Ball tries to pass to full mount but Rronoa defends it.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ball connects with a nice short shot to Rronoa's temple.
Rronoa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Ball works his way into full mount!
Ball scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Rronoa?

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ball cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rronoa can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rronoa is wriggling around trying to escape.
Ball with a couple of short strikes.
Rronoa is rocked!
A big strike lands for Ball! That's really hurt Rronoa and he's turned his back - Ball keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Ball jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy Ball!
