PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chauncey Silvestre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and PierreLuc Beaulieu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beaulieu has chosen Disturbed, Indestructible as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, PierreLuc Beaulieu!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvestre fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beaulieu manages to avoid it.
Silvestre throws a body kick that misses.
Beaulieu tries to clinch up.
Beaulieu moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Chauncey Silvestre has been cut.
A head kick from Silvestre lands but Beaulieu takes it in his stride.
Silvestre throws a sloppy head kick and Beaulieu moves out of range easily.
Silvestre lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Silvestre misses with a few strikes there.
Silvestre throws a nice head kick!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Beaulieu.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silvestre scores with a jab.
Silvestre swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Silvestre lands with a kick to the ribs.

Silvestre avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silvestre scores with a nice body kick.
Beaulieu looks gassed!
Silvestre thumps Beaulieu with a low kick.
Silvestre lands a lovely overhand right.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silvestre throws a head kick that Beaulieu semi-blocks.
Beaulieu avoids the head kick by Silvestre.
Silvestre uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Beaulieu has time to react.

Silvestre cracks Beaulieu with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Silvestre has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Beaulieu to stand back up!

Beaulieu is rocked!
Chauncey Silvestre is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Silvestre throws a leg kick which misses Beaulieu's front leg but catches the back leg as Beaulieu tries to avoid it.
Beaulieu takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Silvestre throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Beaulieu stumbling backwards into the cage! Beaulieu bounces back off the cage towards Silvestre, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Silvestre lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Silvestre celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
