Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russian Experiment I (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snatch Dat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Experiment I comes to the cage accompanied by Dancing Queen. Dat comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bring The Pain kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Russian Experiment I! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Snatch Dat! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dat misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Experiment I.
Experiment I steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dat. Dat misses with a looping right. A chopping leg kick lands by Experiment I. Some wild striking there from Dat.
Dat throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dat bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Dat cracks Experiment I with a big elbow. The ground and pound from Dat seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Dat looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Experiment I is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Experiment I wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Experiment I is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dat off and has taken his back! Dat has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dat rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Experiment I performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dat tries to get to full guard but Experiment I has control of the leg. Experiment I tries to stand and escape but Dat is controlling the position. Dat wants to control but Experiment I is keeping busy.
Experiment I throwing shots but Dat is blocking nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dat tries to get to full guard but Experiment I has control of the leg. Experiment I tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Dat.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dat scores with a jab. Experiment I acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Horrible takedown by Dat or perhaps it was just good defense by Experiment I which made him look bad. Dat works over Experiment I's head and body with a nice combination. Experiment I needs to keep his hands up - Dat had a free shot at his head there. Experiment I moves out of range of the strikes. Snatch Dat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Experiment I ducks under a wild hook from Dat. Experiment I keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Experiment I attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Dat throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Experiment I's waist but Experiment I gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dat off to one side. Experiment I does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Dat throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Experiment I just misses with a punch to the body.
Experiment I fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Experiment I showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dat.
Decent striking displayed by Experiment I there. Experiment I tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dat paws at him with a jab and circles away. Good leg kick by Experiment I there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Experiment I thows a body shot but no joy. Dat throws a lazy right hand but Experiment I sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Experiment I has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Experiment I there as he acknowledges the shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Snatch Dat dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Experiment I is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Dat. Experiment I slips a jab and a cross from Dat.
Dat dodges the punch combination from Experiment I.
Dat throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Dat scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Experiment I throws a nice outside leg kick. Experiment I is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Experiment I misses with a body punch
and Dat counters with a series of strikes. Experiment I will be more careful next time no doubt.

Dat keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Experiment I. Dat throws out a loose jab but Experiment I uses good head movement to avoid it. Experiment I doesn't manage to clinch there - Dat circles away.
Experiment I moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Experiment I misses the shot to the body. Experiment I throws a body punch but Dat moves out of range. Experiment I gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Experiment I has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Experiment I there as he acknowledges the shot. Dat bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Experiment I's head backwards. Experiment I moves out of range as Dat strikes. Dat loads up on a big right hand but Experiment I slips the punch. Dat avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Experiment I misses with a straight left. A big right from Dat misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Experiment I tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dat swats him away and circles back towards the center. Experiment I displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dat throws out the jab. Dat looks to score with a jab to the body but Experiment I is just out of range. Dat shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Experiment I has Dat pulled in close to control his posture. Dat lands a couple of digs. Dat stands up over Experiment I, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Dat working some strikes from top position. Dat throws a big right hand that misses. Experiment I lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dat! Dat is squirming around, avoiding Experiment I's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Experiment I wants to control the action but instead Dat gets a body lock and reverses into Experiment I's guard! Nice work! Dat lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dat's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Experiment I preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Experiment I looking for a sweep. Not yet Experiment I, not yet. Dat wants to pass the guard but Experiment I is keeping the position. Experiment I lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dat! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Experiment I tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Snatch Dat showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Dat throws out a powerful jab. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dat, as that shot connected.
Dat throws a leg kick that is checked and Experiment I counters with a nice low kick that buckles Dat's knee momentarily. The fight stays on the outside here - Experiment I looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dat rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Experiment I moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A solid leg kick lands there for Experiment I.
Experiment I dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dat. That did some damage!
That's one minute gone in the round. Experiment I throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Snatch Dat seems to be getting the better of the standup. Experiment I tries to land a front kick but Dat steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Experiment I is looking to slow Dat down with leg kicks. Dat scores with the left hand. Experiment I knows he should have avoided that one. Experiment I throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Experiment I tries to clinch enabling Dat to counter with a crisp jab. Experiment I throws a leg kick but Dat sees it coming and checks it nicely. Dat throws a looping overhand right but Experiment I ducks down to avoid it. Russian Experiment I has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dat throws a hook but Experiment I avoids it easily. Dat misses with a body punch
letting Experiment I counter with a right hand. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dat.
Experiment I on the wrong end of a nice hook. Experiment I misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Experiment I uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dat. Experiment I finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Experiment I connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dat's hands.

Russian Experiment I is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dat listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Experiment I defending well as Dat loads up on a big left hand. A left lands for Dat. Dat lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Experiment I circles away quickly and effectively. Dat misses with a hook. Experiment I ducked under it nicely. Experiment I wants to slow Dat down by chopping away at his legs. Dat lands with a nice body punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Dat, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Experiment I throws a lazy head kick and Dat counters with a nice uppercut. Experiment I slips a straight right by Dat. Dat misses with a wild body shot. Experiment I fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dat throws out a leg kick but Experiment I moves out of range and Dat only half commits. Dat looks to score with a jab to the body but Experiment I is just out of range. Dat fails with a takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Snatch Dat. Well Dat has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
