Marcel comes to the cage accompanied by city of angels. Pliskin has chosen Metal Gear Solid Main Theme as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marcel gets caught flat footed, as Pliskin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Pliskin advances position into side control!
Pliskin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Marcel keeps working.
Marcel is trying to get back to half guard.

Pliskin is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Marcel is looking for a sweep.

Pliskin prevents Marcel from improving his position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Marcel trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Pliskin manages to pass to mount!

Marcel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pliskin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pliskin lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Marcel has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Marcel and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Pliskin counters with a nice low kick that buckles Marcel's knee momentarily.
Marcel throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pliskin.

Marcel swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Marcel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pliskin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Marcel connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Marcel throws a sloppy head kick and Pliskin moves out of range easily.

and Marcel counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Marcel.
Pliskin throws a low kick but Marcel avoids it.
Marcel misses with a low kick as Pliskin jumps back.
Marcel lands with a slapping head kick.
Marcel moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Marcel scoring well with a low kick there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Marcel fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pliskin.
