Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Romanov lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Romanov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Romanov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nicolai Romanov will probably get the nod.

Romanov throws an uppercut from hell that sends Williams clean off his feet! He's out cold! Romanov stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nicolai Romanov!
