Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cory Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cory Rose! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Harris! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rose looks to land a combination. Harris sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Harris shoots in looking for a takedown. Rose tries to sprawl out of it but Harris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rose manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nice sprawl there from Rose as Harris shoots in. Rose misses with a hook. Harris ducked under it nicely. Harris shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rose pinned against the cage. Rose gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Cory Rose has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Harris. Rose connects with a good right hand that stumbles Harris. Harris circles away out of range and recomposes himself. No luck for Harris with that takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rose throws a shot from downtown. Harris moves away and avoids it. Harris moves away from the strike by Rose. Harris slips a jab from Rose. Rose pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rose tries to clinch but Harris is having none of it. Harris misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Rose swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Harris tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rose swivels and escapes. Harris shoots in but Rose avoids the takedown attempt easily. Harris looks gassed! Rose cracks Harris with an uppercut from hell and Harris crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Rose's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Harris is rocked! Rose would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Harris is still in real trouble! Can Rose finish him? Rose missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Harris keeping full guard, as Rose tries to pass. Harris seems to have recovered his senses. Rose trying to control but Harris is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris wants to get back to his feet but Rose is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Rose trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Harris has a closed guard, preventing Rose from standing up. Rose won't allow Harris to get back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rose scores with a jab. Harris acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Rose closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Harris out cold! Harris corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Cory Rose!
