Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Wizard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matt Wizard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ken Brooks! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Wizard. Brooks does a little dance to reset his feet. Wizard misses with a body shot.
Wizard changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brooks tries to avoid it but Wizard manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brooks to the ground. Brooks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Brooks shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Brooks trying to control but he's not successful this time. Brooks manages to capitalize on a mistake by Wizard to take his back! Brooks struggling to keep hold of the position.
Wizard covering up well and avoiding damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brooks trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Wizard has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Brooks. Wizard is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Brooks misses with an elbow to the head. Wizard defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Wizard trying to control the hands but Brooks breaks the grip.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wizard is really stuck here.
Brooks gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Wizard biding his time here by controlling the hands, looking to escape. A lull in the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brooks struggling to land strikes to the head as Wizard covers up. Wizard avoids the strikes from Brooks. Brooks is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Will Brooks go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Brooks lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Wizard hold on?!
Wizard manages to reverse the position and now he's in Brooks's guard. Nice work there by Wizard.
Wizard throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Wizard loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Brooks has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wizard missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wizard throwing strikes from guard but Brooks blocks nicely. Wizard connects with a couple of short punches. Wizard with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Brooks dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Brooks fails with the takedown and Wizard counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Brooks won't allow Wizard to pass to mount. Wizard working over Brooks with some ground and pound. Brooks looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Wizard is nestled in close to Brooks, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Brooks tries to get to full guard but Wizard has control of the leg. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wizard connects with a nice short shot to Brooks's temple. Brooks won't allow Wizard to pass to mount. Brooks avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Wizard. Wizard prevents Brooks from improving his position. Brooks is breathing heavily. Wizard drops an elbow to the side of Brooks's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brooks punching from the bottom.
Wizard lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Wizard passes to full mount! BOOM! Wizard connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Wizard pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Brooks is rocked! Wizard unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Brooks wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Wizard celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Wizard!
