The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva avoids the body shot from Vukusic.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vukusic.
Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Vukusic tries to hold on but Silva pushes him away.
Silva trying to control but Vukusic is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Vukusic is surviving well by controlling Silva's body position as best he can.
Vukusic is in all sorts of trouble here.
Vukusic throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Vukusic is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Vukusic and Silva has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Silva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Vukusic misses with a strike from the bottom.
Vukusic is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Vukusic is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
