Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Roland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Punch Drunk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Antonio Roland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Punch Drunk! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drunk tries to clinch but Roland moves out of range. Roland feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Drunk has control of Roland's left arm, preventing Roland from doing any damage. Roland might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Drunk keeping full guard, as Roland tries to pass. Roland is looking to work some ground and pound but Drunk has wrist control. Drunk pushes Roland off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Drunk tries for a takedown but Roland circles away easily and Roland counters with a single leg into guard. Drunk didn't expect that. Drunk pulls Roland in to control the position. Drunk keeping moving, preventing Roland from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drunk has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Roland has passed into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Roland working away.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Roland fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Drunk sprawls well initially but Roland persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Drunk flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Drunk is trying is best to control the position here. Roland is trying to control the action in half guard but Drunk is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Drunk kicks Roland off and gets back to his feet. Drunk throws a series of punches but Roland moves out of range. Roland fails with the takedown and Drunk counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Roland's guard now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drunk sitting in guard here, content to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Drunk being controlled here momentarily. Roland throws a nice elbow from the bottom. Drunk preventing the sweep. Roland has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Drunk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Drunk prevents Roland from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Roland looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Roland has a closed guard, preventing Drunk from standing up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Roland wants to stand but Drunk is controlling the position. Drunk is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antonio Roland dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Roland shoots in and bounces Drunk off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Drunk is pulling down on Roland's head. It's preventing any offense from Roland, at least for the moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Drunk has his takedown stuffed and Roland counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Drunk's guard now. Roland has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roland controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Drunk is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Drunk kicks Roland off and gets to his feet. Drunk forces Roland back against the cage and clinches. Roland trying to land knees to the body.

Drunk manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Drunk tries for a takedown but Roland circles away easily and Roland counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Antonio Roland has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Punch Drunk. Drunk makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Drunk shoots in but Roland avoids the takedown attempt easily. Drunk misses with a wild combination.
Punch Drunk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drunk misses with a hook. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Drunk. Drunk gets caught flat footed, as Roland shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roland stands and steps away. Drunk gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Drunk doesn't succeed with the takedown and Roland counters with a single leg into guard. Drunk didn't expect that. Roland won't allow Drunk to sweep him here. Drunk wants to get back to his feet but Roland is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Roland trying to stand up but can't free himself from Drunk's guard. Drunk is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Roland controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Roland scores a takedown into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drunk tries to reverse the position but Roland maintains control. Roland goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Drunk is on top in guard.
Roland is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Drunk jumps guard but Roland stands there with Drunk around his waist. Drunk gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Drunk tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Roland just stands there and leans against the cage. Antonio Roland has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Punch Drunk. Drunk breaks from the clinch.
Roland closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roland decides to stand up, so the ref orders Drunk to his feet. Drunk fails with the takedown and Roland counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Drunk! Roland working away from the top, dropping strikes. Roland looking to control but Drunk is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Roland lands a nice shot to the head. Roland can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Drunk is looking to escape. Roland with the ground and pound from mount.

Roland moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Drunk has worked his arm free - good work by Drunk!
Drunk is trying to control Roland's posture but Roland avoids it. Punch Drunk has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Roland wants to lay and pray for a moment but Drunk keeps working. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Drunk throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
And that's the end of the fight! Antonio Roland showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Roland, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
