Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boba Fettucini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Danza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danza is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Who's the Boss. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Boba Fettucini!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Danza!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fettucini moves out of range of the strikes.
Tony Danza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fettucini closes the distance and clinches.

Danza has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Fettucini clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Fettucini trying to control the position but Danza manages to sink in the hooks.
Fettucini turns into Danza and is now in his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fettucini postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Danza is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fettucini, into his guard.
Danza seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Fettucini is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Danza's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Danza passes Fettucini's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Danza controlling the action here.
Fettucini is staying active underneath Danza, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tony Danza.
Fettucini shoots for a takedown but Danza saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A jab from Danza misses.
Danza throws a shot from downtown. Fettucini moves away and avoids it.
Danza swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Danza slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Fettucini shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Danza is trying to defend but Fettucini finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Danza is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fettucini defends well.
Fettucini thows a big elbow that misses.
Fettucini with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Fettucini working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Fettucini throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Danza works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Fettucini is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Danza has managed to free his arm - good work.

Fettucini is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Danza is just riding it out for now. Fettucini eventually gives up the hold.
Fettucini is breathing heavily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Danza works his way to full guard. Good work.
Fettucini wants to control from the top but Danza keeps moving.
Danza controls Fettucini momentarily but Fettucini frees himself.
Danza looking for a sweep. Not yet Danza, not yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danza keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Fettucini takes one to the side of the head.
Fettucini doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Fettucini connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Danza swings for the body but Fettucini moves out of range.
A big left from Danza misses.
Danza looks to land a left hand but Fettucini moved out of range nicely.
Fettucini is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Danza just misses with a punch to the body.
Fettucini drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Danza lands a lovely overhand right.
A slow jab from Danza misses its intended target.
A looping hook to the body misses from Danza. Fettucini does a little dance to reset his feet.
Danza misses with a looping left.
Fettucini fails with a takedown attempt.
Fettucini just misses with a punch to the body.

Fettucini shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Danza's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Fettucini clinches up against the cage.
Fettucini is pressed up against the cage. Danza has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fettucini down to the mat. Fettucini avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Danza misses with a two punch combination.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fettucini looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Fettucini closes the distance and pushes Danza back into the cage.
Danza is working for takedown but Fettucini is calmly controlling the position for now.

Fettucini manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Even with his hooks in, Danza manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Danza tries to keep control of the position but Fettucini is staying busy.

Fettucini wants to control but Danza is having none of it.

A close second round but Tony Danza will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Nice straight punches there by Danza. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Danza.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Fettucini shoots in for a takedown but Danza shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fettucini crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Danza - the referee stops the clock and Fettucini gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Danza. Fettucini manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Danza shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Danza was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Fettucini tries to lock up and control but Danza gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Fettucini is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Danza has control of Fettucini's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Fettucini regains control of the situation pretty easily.

I've got Danza winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
