The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shotokahn manages to avoid it.
Shotokahn loads up on a big right hand but Savage slips the punch.
Shotokahn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Savage lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Savage throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shotokahn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Savage, as that shot connected.
Savage changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shotokahn tries to avoid it but Savage manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shotokahn to the ground. Shotokahn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Buck Savage.
