3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Peter Czech! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Czech misses with a body shot.
Czech is looking to clinch. Gracie slips a straight right by Czech. Nice takedown defense from Czech. No joy for Gracie on that attempt. Gracie staying out of range there. Jab from Czech. Czech throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Gracie scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Gracie is looking for a kimura but Czech is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage. Czech scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Gracie manages to mount him!
Gracie looking to secure an arm triangle but Czech defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie won't let Czech get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Gracie looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Czech can't escape the position.
Czech really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Czech wants to control but Gracie is having none of it. Czech is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Czech is trying to escape the mount.
Czech is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Czech can do anything to dispel that myth. Gracie looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Czech is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gracie is working for a guillotine from mount but Czech frees his head quite easily.
Gracie trying to control but Czech is having none of it. Czech is trying to stand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie working for a submission but Czech is keeping him at bay. Czech wants to control but Gracie is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie controlling the position easily from mount. Czech is squirming around, avoiding Gracie's attempts to control the action. Czech is looking to get to half guard. Gracie is working for a guillotine from mount but Czech frees his head quite easily.

Gracie is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Czech is surviving well by controlling Gracie's body position as best he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A jab from Czech misses. Czech throws a jab but it's blocked by Gracie. Czech thows a left - swing and a miss! A slow jab from Czech misses its intended target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Czech defends it nicely.

It looks like Rullo Gracie has been cut. Czech throws a jab but it's blocked by Gracie. Czech throws a jab when Gracie was well out of range. Gracie keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Czech. Czech keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Czech looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Peter Czech is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A swing and a miss from Czech. Czech fails with an attempt to clinch.

He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Czech moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Peter Czech showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Rullo Gracie's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Czech tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Czech to the ground. Czech escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Czech misses with a looping right. Czech throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range. Czech fails to land with a series of punches.
Nice defenses there by Gracie. Czech pushing out the jab but it's not landing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Czech throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Gracie moves away from the strike by Czech. Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Czech as he avoids it easily. Peter Czech seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Czech looks to throw the jab but Gracie is out of range. Czech misses the shot to the body. Gracie looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Gracie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Czech looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Czech has escaped the position, nice work there. Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Czech, who protects the arm well. Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Czech is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Czech is not content to let Gracie control the position. Gracie working away. Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Czech is defending well. Czech gets back to half guard. Gracie wants to pass to mount but Czech is defending the position. Czech is looking for a sweep. Gracie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Czech wants to get back to his feet. Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Czech is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold. Czech looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Gracie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Czech throws out the jab. Gracie tries to clinch up but Czech circles away and keeps his distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Czech fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gracie manages to avoid it. Czech lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Czech tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Czech manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rullo Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Czech throws an overhand right that lands on Gracie's shoulder, as Gracie tries to avoid the shot. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Czech closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rullo Gracie. I think Gracie has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
