Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iliyev looks for a takedown but Sidorov sprawls well.
Iliyev shoots for a double leg takedown but Sidorov sprawls well. He's pushed Iliyev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sidorov lunges at Iliyev with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Iliyev's hand.
Iliyev walks into a left hand.
Sidorov missing with a left hand there. Iliyev was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sidorov throws a body punch but Iliyev moves out of range.
Sidorov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Iliyev swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sidorov slaps away a takedown attempt from Iliyev, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergey Iliyev. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sidorov throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sidorov scores with a nice right hand.
Iliyev misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Iliyev slips under a jab from Sidorov.

Iliyev avoids the body shot from Sidorov.

Iliyev shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sidorov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Iliyev stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sidorov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sidorov keeping moving, preventing Iliyev from controlling successfully.
Iliyev sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sidorov's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sidorov is staying active underneath Iliyev, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Iliyev is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Iliyev is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Iliyev is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Sidorov reverses the position - he's now on top in Iliyev's guard.
Iliyev is looking for a triangle but Sidorov pushes his legs off easily.

Iliyev is working an open guard so Sidorov takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Sidorov tries to close the distance and clinch but Iliyev swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sidorov loads up on a big right hand but Iliyev slips the punch.
A left lands for Sidorov.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Iliyev.
Sidorov fails with an attempt to clinch.
Iliyev shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sidorov pinned against the cage. Sidorov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Iliyev staying out of range there.
Iliyev drops his hands momentarily and Sidorov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Sidorov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Iliyev.
Iliyev takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Iliyev is breathing heavily.
Sidorov jabs Iliyev right on the nose. Iliyev blinks but takes it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sidorov misses with an uppercut. Iliyev saw that one coming.
Iliyev takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Iliyev shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sidorov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sidorov lands with a good body shot.
Sidorov throws a monster overhand right that drops Iliyev! Sidorov follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
