Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bald Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bald Bull could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to James Rhodes's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhodes misses with a few strikes there.

Bull drives through with a takedown into guard.

Rhodes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bull. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rhodes can do anything to dispel that myth.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bull throws a body punch but Rhodes moves out of range.

Bull throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rhodes was covering up waiting for the punch and Bull finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bull throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Rhodes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bull's guard.

Bull had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rhodes defends it easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bald Bull will probably get the nod.

Bull ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Rhodes looks to land a combination but Bull avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bald Bull.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bull, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
