Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxwell misses with a body shot.
Maxwell misses with a series of wild punches.
Cicero misses with an uppercut. Maxwell saw that one coming.
Cicero lands a two punch combo.
Cicero feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Maxwell has his foot on Cicero's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cicero works his way back into a safe position though.
Cicero throwing strikes but missing.
Cicero has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Maxwell throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Cicero escapes and throws Maxwell's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Cicero advances to full mount.
Cicero putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Maxwell regains half guard.
Cicero passes to side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Cicero thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Cicero in side control, throwing shots but Maxwell defends.
Cicero is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Maxwell is trying to escape and Cicero transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Maxwell is forced to tap! Nice work there by Cicero! Very nice indeed!
