Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Milson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prince Adam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by He-Man: Opening Theme. The key to victory for Max Milson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Milson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Prince Adam!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milson tries to land a front kick but Adam steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Adam avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Adam shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Adam was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Milson is squirming around, avoiding Adam's attempts to control the action.

Adam moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Milson has worked his arm free - good work by Milson!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Max Milson will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Milson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Milson.
Max Milson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Prince Adam.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Milson here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Adam is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Milson.

Milson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Adam down.

Milson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Milson is trying to control the action in half guard but Adam is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Milson slips a nice elbow through Adam's hands, connecting with Adam's forehead.
Milson prevents Adam from improving his position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Milson gets a clinch.
Milson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Adam tries for a takedown. No joy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Milson wants to stall.
Milson misses with a punch to the body.
Milson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Milson swings away with an uppercut that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Max Milson dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Adam throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Adam has his takedown stuffed
enabling Milson to counter with a crisp jab.
Nice jab there from Adam.

and Milson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Max Milson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Prince Adam.
Adam misses with a looping right.
Adam tries to clinch up.

Adam feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Milson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Adam!
Adam takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Adam is looking to improve his position but Milson isn't that keen on the idea.

Milson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Adam can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Milson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Adam is working to get back to half guard.
Adam bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Max Milson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Adam postures up in Milson's guard and throws a big left but Milson blocks it.
Milson keeping moving, preventing Adam from controlling successfully.

Adam is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Milson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Milson has escaped and now he's on top!

Adam is looking for a triangle but Milson pushes his legs off easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
Max Milson showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Milson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
