Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tre Sykes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sykes comes to the cage accompanied by Down With The Sickness. Ortiz has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Tre Sykes looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ortiz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Sykes fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ortiz slips a jab and a cross from Sykes.
Sykes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ortiz's waist but Ortiz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sykes off to one side.
Sykes throws a head kick that Ortiz semi-blocks.

That has opened up Tito Ortiz's cut even more.
Sykes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sykes tries to clinch up.
Sykes lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Sykes fails to land the takedown.

Ortiz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ortiz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sykes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ortiz is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sykes is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sykes has escaped and now he's on top!
