Penn cracks Romano with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Romano tries to clinch up.
Penn throws a nice looking combination but Romano bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The crowd cheers as Penn lands an impressive looking overhand right. Romano doesn't seem phased though.

and Penn counters with a nice double leg into side control. Romano won't be happy with that.
Penn is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Romano has escaped the position, nice work there.
Romano tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Penn wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Penn is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Romano knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Romano gets back to half guard.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Penn dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Penn misses with a looping left.
Penn works over Romano's head and body with a nice combination.
Penn closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Penn is working to tighten is grip on Romano's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Romano has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Penn is really squeezing tight and eventually Romano passes out! Penn breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
