Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Ben Hunter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Patrick Willis! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Willis fails to land the takedown. Hunter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Willis. Willis fails with a takedown attempt. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Willis chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hunter can pounce on him.

Hunter lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Hunter fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Willis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Willis throws and low kick but Hunter moves out of range easily. Hunter stuffs the takedown attempt from Willis. Willis gets slowly back to his feet. Ben Hunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Willis. Hunter displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Willis. Willis throws a solid leg kick but Hunter takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Willis. Willis misses with a body kick. Willis throws out a leg kick but Hunter moves out of range and Willis only half commits. Hunter lands with an overhand left. Willis shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hunter defends it nicely. Willis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hunter tries to avoid it but Willis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hunter to the ground. Hunter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hunter lands a jab. Willis on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Willis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hunter is fending him off so far but Willis persists. Nope, Hunter circles away and we're back to standing. Hunter jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hunter looks to land a combination. Willis sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Willis blocks a head kick by Hunter.
Hunter lands with a kick to the temple. Willis shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Hunter throws a hook but Willis blocks it. Donk. Hunter catches Willis right on the button with a cross. Hunter throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A lazy left from Hunter finds it's target. Willis ducks right into an uppercut from Hunter. Willis avoids the head kick by Hunter.
Willis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hunter!
Willis lands a glancing blow to the side of Hunter's head. Willis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hunter as he jumps to the side. Hunter connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Hunter lands a glancing blow to the side of Willis's head. That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jab, jab by Hunter - just one landing. Willis takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Willis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hunter was well out of range. Poor timing from Willis. Willis takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Willis shoots for a double leg takedown but Hunter sprawls well. He's pushed Willis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hunter listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Hunter is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Hunter lands a nice shot that snaps Willis's head back.
Hunter scores with a crisp jab that stopped Willis in his tracks. Hunter throws a right and a left that Willis avoids nicely. Hunter throws a leg kick which misses Willis's front leg but catches the back leg as Willis tries to avoid it. Willis takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Willis is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hunter is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Willis. Willis misses with the combination.
Hunter throws the left hand but Willis avoids the punch easily. Willis is looking to score with low kicks. Willis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ben Hunter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hunter throws a head kick that misses. Willis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hunter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

An inside leg kick lands from Hunter. Willis walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Willis shoots in for a double leg but Hunter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Willis shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Willis looks gassed! Willis not landing any meaningful shots this time. Hunter makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Willis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters circle momentarily. Hunter darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. A decent looking cross lands there for Hunter. Nice uppercut lands for Hunter. That snapped Willis's head back.
Hunter misses with an uppercut. Hunter clobbers Willis with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Ben Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A decent looking cross lands there for Hunter. Hunter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Hunter throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Willis's head. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hunter.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hunter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Willis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hunter is fending him off so far but Willis persists. Nope, Hunter circles away and we're back to standing. Hunter scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Hunter dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hunter swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Willis. Hunter lands a jab. Willis on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hunter. Hunter obviously looking to wear him down.

A swing and a miss from Hunter. Hunter scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Hunter catches Willis with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Hunter looks to throw the jab but Willis is out of range. Willis cracks Hunter with a good jab. Willis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hunter napping and manages to drive through into side control! Willis tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Willis has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hunter takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Hunter regains half guard, as Willis was trying to land strikes. Ground and pound from Willis. Willis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hunter's head.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hunter paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Willis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hunter. Willis thows a body shot but no joy. A punch lands to the side of Willis 's head but he takes it in his stride. Willis's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Hunter throws a head kick that misses. Willis looks to land a body kick but Hunter moved away. Willis fails to land the takedown. Willis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ben Hunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That was a close second round but I would say that Ben Hunter will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
A bone on bone clash there as Willis blocks the leg kick.
Willis shoots in but no luck this time. Willis has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Willis cracks the inside of Hunter's front leg. Willis stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hunter. Willis throws a jab but it's blocked by Hunter. Willis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hunter looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Willis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The strikes coming from Willis are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Willis throws an elbow but Hunter slips to the side and avoids it well. Willis decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hunter to his feet. Hunter turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Willis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Willis takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Hunter feints and then cracks Willis's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Willis down. Hunter pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hunter scores with a nice head shot. Hunter throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Willis moves out of range of the strikes. Hunter lands with a nice combination. Willis backs away looking to recover. Hunter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Willis doesn't seem bothered though. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Willis misses with a head shot. Hunter uses the momentum to regain guard. Willis stands and throws Hunter's legs to the side, diving into side control. An elbow from Willis crashes against the mat.
Willis tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Willis throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Hunter works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Ben Hunter is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Willis thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Hunter to regain full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Patrick Willis. I think Hunter has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
