Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joy Joker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel The Karate!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Karate tries to clinch but Joker moves out of range.
Joker closes the distance but The Karate moves to the side
and The Karate counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The Karate wants to take a breather but Joker is having none of it.
Joker keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Karate thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Joker's head.
The Karate stops Joker from getting back to his feet.
The Karate perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The Karate trying to control the action but Joker is working from the bottom.
Joker wants to get back to his feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Whack! The Karate lands a heavy head kick that drops Joker. The ref tackles The Karate to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Joker was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Daniel The Karate!
