Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Tidwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Josh Tidwell has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Josh Tidwell seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Tidwell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Vincent Vega! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vega tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Tidwell looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Vega tries to clinch up. Tidwell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vega avoids it really well and circles away. Tidwell shoots for a takedown but Vega saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Tidwell moves out of range of the body kick. Vega misses with a takedown attempt - Tidwell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Vega tries for a takedown but Tidwell circles away easily and Tidwell counters with a takedown into side control. Vega struggling a bit here. Tidwell gets to mount! Vega was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Vega throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. You get the feeling that Vega really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Vega tries to get back to half guard but can't. Tidwell content just to control the position here. Tidwell trying to control but he's not successful this time. Vega is in all sorts of trouble here.
Vega wants to hold on but Tidwell pushes him away. Tidwell is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Vega is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Vega tries to hold on but Tidwell postures up. Vega is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Tidwell is staying active. Vega is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vega tries to hold on but Tidwell pushes him away. Tidwell trying to control but Vega is having none of it. Vega is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tidwell is working for a guillotine from mount but Vega frees his head quite easily.
Vega keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Vega slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Vega is not content to let Tidwell control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Tidwell dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Vega tries to clinch up. Vega changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tidwell tries to avoid it but Vega manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tidwell to the ground. Tidwell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Vega takes the fight into the clinch. Vega fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Vega goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tidwell prevents it.
Josh Tidwell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vincent Vega. Vega tries to pull guard but Tidwell holds him up against the cage and eventually Vega drops back down to his feet.
Tidwell lands a knee to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A short body shot lands from Tidwell as the two fighters clinch.
Tidwell decides to pull guard. Vega trying to control the position from guard on top but Tidwell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vega looking to sit in guard and control but Tidwell gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Tidwell working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Vega's head. Tidwell is pushing down on Vega's leg trying to pass to half guard. Vega is fighting to maintain full guard but Tidwell has managed to sneak the leg through. Tidwell not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Vega trying to hold on to Tidwell's head to control him but Tidwell postures up.
Tidwell is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Vega is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Josh Tidwell!
