Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rob Adam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tyrone johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam comes to the cage accompanied by Grateful Deads- Truckin'. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
johnson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Adam misses with a wild body shot.
Adam swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Adam tries to bum rush johnson with a series of wild strikes but johnson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A shot to de liver by johnson. Beautiful body shot.
Adam swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Adam as johnson shoots in.

johnson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Adam might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

johnson scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Adam to see if he's OK.

Adam postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for johnson to stand up.
johnson avoids the body shot from Adam.
Adam shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts johnson as he jumps to the side.
johnson tries a head kick but it misses.
Rob Adam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Adam lands a shot to the body.
Adam is trying to work for a single leg takedown but johnson pulls him back up using the underhooks.

and johnson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Adam slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
johnson throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
johnson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Adam connects with a jab.
Adam tries to clinch but johnson is having none of it.
Adam shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has johnson pinned against the cage. johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rob Adam. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Adam has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Adam lands a big shot there that rocks johnson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Adam cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Adam cracks johnson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
BOOM! Adam connects with a massive shot to the dome!

johnson is rocked!
Adam lands a nice shot to the head.
johnson is still in real trouble! Can Adam finish him?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adam breaks from johnson's wrist control and lands an elbow.
johnson is looking to get to half guard.
The referee warns johnson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

johnson tries to hold on but Adam pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

johnson walks straight into a right hand from Adam - that's dropped him! Adam jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save johnson from any more punishment! johnson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
