The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Kavanagh and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saidov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Saidov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Markson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kevine Markson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aslambek Saidov.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Markson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Saidov misses with a takedown attempt
and Markson counters by moving into the clinch.
Saidov looks gassed!
Markson struggles to land a body shot inside as Saidov controls his hands.
Markson has had enough of the clinch but Saidov keeps him there for the moment.
Saidov turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Saidov manages to end up in side control.
Saidov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Saidov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Markson is trying to control Saidov's posture but Saidov avoids it.

Saidov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Markson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Markson is looking to control Saidov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Markson avoid being mounted?
