Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dante Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benji Gable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gable dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Carver. That did some damage!
Gable moves into the clinch.
Gable is trying to trip Carver. He has hold of a leg but Carver is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Gable persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Gable is looking to stand up but Carver won't let him.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Carver takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Carver has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Gable really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carver. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Carver pulls Gable in close to his closed guard and prevents Gable from doing any damage or advancing position.
Carver will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Benji Gable showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
