And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newman throws a lazy right hand but Flayre sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Newman misses with a hook. Flayre ducked under it nicely.
Flayre slips under a jab.
Flayre shoots in for a double leg but Newman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Newman swats away the attempt to clinch by Flayre.
Flayre misses with a body kick.
A big right from Newman misses.
Flayre is trying hard to land a takedown here. Newman sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Newman lands with a good body shot.
Newman slaps away a takedown attempt from Flayre, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Eric Newman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aerick Flayre.

Newman uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Flayre has time to react.
It looks like Aerick Flayre has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Newman cracks Flayre on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Flayre falls backwards against the cage. Newman follows up with more strikes that drop Flayre to his knees. Newman keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Flayre! This one is all over!
