PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leo Gudino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brambo Bradonis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gudino comes to the cage accompanied by gangsta rap made me do it. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Brambo Bradonis was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gudino will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bradonis misses with a two punch combination.
Gudino changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bradonis tries to avoid it but Gudino manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bradonis to the ground. Bradonis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bradonis throws a half hearted mid kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Gudino. That's going to slow Bradonis down.

Bradonis instigates a clinch.

Bradonis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Gudino counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bradonis's guard now.

Bradonis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gudino can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gudino drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bradonis manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gudino has Bradonis in his guard.

Gudino shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bradonis napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Bradonis throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Gudino shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bradonis's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gudino is looking to stand up but Bradonis won't let him.
Gudino throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bradonis works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bradonis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
