Potku is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pantera - Drag the Waters. Ala Potku has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Erik Badass's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erik Badass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ala Potku!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badass tries to work over Potku's front leg with a kick but Potku checks it.
Badass uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Potku.
Badass avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Potku defending well as Badass loads up on a big left hand.
Potku takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Badass rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Potku moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice straight punches there by Badass. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Badass.
Badass fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Ala Potku has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Potku.
Potku swinging wilding here.
Potku throws a hook but Badass blocks it.

and Badass counters with a left hand that sends Potku to the canvas!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Badass is looking to stand up but Potku won't let him.

Badass trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Potku bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Badass's guard.
Badass tries to strike from the bottom.
Potku seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Badass tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Potku trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Potku passes Badass's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Potku looks gassed!
Potku throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Potku thows a huge punch but Badass dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Badass is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Potku's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Potku's back!
Potku is taking damage to the body and head.

Potku has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Potku breaks Badass's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Badass looking to hit a scissor sweep but Potku is one step ahead there.

Potku is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Badass is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Badass has escaped and now he's on top!

Potku looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Erik Badass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Potku shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Potku accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Potku keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Badass's head.
Potku slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Potku tries to advance to mount but Badass denies him.

Potku is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Badass is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Potku has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Potku wants to control the pace but Badass is squirming around nicely.
Potku is landing with some decent strikes but Badass is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Potku landing punches.
Badass is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Potku sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Badass tries to hold on but Potku pushes him away.
Potku looking to finish Badass with some ground and pound. This is bad for Badass!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Badass is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Potku ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Potku looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Potku wants to control the pace but Badass is squirming around nicely.

Badass keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Badass tries to buck Potku off but he can't manage it.

Badass has one foot on Potku's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Badass thuds his right hand into Potku's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Potku takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Erik Badass is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Badass connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Potku to the floor! Badass dives in looking for the finish!

Badass stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Potku to get to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Badass thows a left - swing and a miss!
Badass ducks straight into an uppercut from Potku and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Badass maanges to regain guard straight away.

Badass is rocked!

It looks like Erik Badass has been cut.
Potku postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Badass covers up, he's hurt! Potku keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Potku and the ref steps in to end the fight! Potku can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
