2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sakke Somali! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Somali throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Rotten blocks a low kick nicely. Somali tries to land a leg kick but Rotten saw it coming and moves away.

Somali really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rotten. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rotten is thwarting Somali's attempts to control the position. Rotten wants to pass to mount but Somali is defending the position. Somali tries to get to full guard but Rotten has control of the leg.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Rotten shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rotten dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Somali. That did some damage! Sakke Somali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Somali throws a sloppy head kick and Rotten counters with a body kick that stops Somali in his tracks momentarily. Sakke Somali is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rotten throws a head kick that misses. Rotten has closed the distance and engaged Somali in a clinch.

Rotten trying to control the position but Somali is working away. Rotten lands some shots froms side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Somali is working to avoid the ground and pound but Rotten connects with a decent elbow. Somali is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Johnny Rotten will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Sakke Somali's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Somali is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on Somali's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Sakke Somali has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A lazy body kick from Somali and Rotten counters with a nice kick to the body. Somali connects with a high kick. Somali throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Somali misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Somali throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Somali throws a lazy head kick and Rotten counters with a good, hard body kick but Somali shrugs it off. Somali throws a quick inside leg kick. Rotten is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Somali throws and low kick but Rotten moves out of range easily. Rotten tries to clinch there but Somali circles away.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Rotten checks a leg kick. Somali throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rotten looking to sit in guard and control but Somali gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Johnny Rotten is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Somali postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Johnny Rotten. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rotten, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
