Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rex Garris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garris dives in and grabs Slice's left leg, looking for a takedown. Slice pushes down on Garris's head and hops out. Slice drops Garris with a beautiful combination! Garris stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Slice is looking for the KO!
Garris is rocked!
It looks like Rex Garris has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Slice clinches. Garris is still on wobbly legs! Can Slice finish him? Slice wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Slice has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Slice is trying to break the clinch but Garris is controlling him. Garris seems to have recovered his senses. Garris lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Slice breaks from the clinch.
Garris keeps the fight on the outside. Garris shoots in for a double leg but Slice sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kimbo Slice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rex Garris. Garris shoots in looking for a takedown. Slice tries to sprawl out of it but Garris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slice manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Slice gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Slice might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Garris wants to get up but he can't break Slice's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Slice wants to get back to his feet but Garris is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Garris drops back, looking for a kneebar! Slice looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Slice looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Slice! Garris looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Garris takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Slice scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Garris to see if he's OK. Garris manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Slice winds up and cracks Garris with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Slice thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Garris is defending against the submission attempts here by Slice.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. That's three minutes gone in the round. Slice slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Slice looks up at the clock and then as Garris takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Slice smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Slice throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Garris looking for submissions off his back. Slice landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slice lands strikes from half guard. Garris is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Slice pulls his head out easily. Garris keeping control of the position. Garris actively working from the bottom here. Garris looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Slice pushes past his half guard into mount! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Slice landing strikes from the mount and Garris is in trouble! Slice thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Garris is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Garris tries to lock up and control but Slice gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kimbo Slice dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rex Garris's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Garris is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Slice. Garris shoots in for a takedown but Slice shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Garris shoots in looking for a takedown. Slice tries to sprawl out of it but Garris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slice manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Slice throws a low kick, looking for Garris's leg but Garris calmly moves out of range. Garris fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kimbo Slice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rex Garris. Slice lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Garris circles away quickly and effectively. Garris tries to score a power double leg takedown but Slice sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Garris somewhat. Slice throws a right and a left that both miss. Kimbo Slice is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slice shoots in and drives through. Garris sprawls well. Slice gets caught flat footed, as Garris shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Garris works a leg free and moves into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Garris seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Slice does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garris might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Slice kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Slice is trying to get back to full guard. Garris is nestled in close to Slice, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Garris controlling the action here. Garris missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Slice keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Slice avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Garris. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Garris tries to score a power double leg takedown but Slice sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Garris somewhat. Danga de danga de dang - Slice scores with a four punch combination! Garris gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Slice counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. A combination from Slice does no damage. Horrible takedown by Garris or perhaps it was just good defense by Slice which made him look bad. Slice misses with a takedown attempt - Garris sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Slice looks to land a combination but Garris avoids it well. No luck for Garris with that takedown attempt. Garris tries for a takedown but Slice circles away easily and Slice counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Garris's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Garris tries to improve position but can't. Slice landing a few strikes. Garris manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Slice is looking to improve his position.
Slice wants to control but Garris is keeping busy and won't allow it. Garris wants to free his trapped foot but Slice is holding on for dear life with his legs. Slice manages to escape and get back to his feet! Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Garris looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Slice is fending him off so far but Garris persists. Nope, Slice circles away and we're back to standing. Slice tries to bum rush Garris with a series of wild strikes but Garris uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Garris shoots in and drives through. Slice sprawls well. Slice drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Slice working the head with strikes. Garris takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Slice throws an elbow but Garris slips to the side and avoids it well. Garris sneaks back into half guard. Garris works his way to full guard. Good work. Kimbo Slice overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Garris is looking for a triangle but Slice pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Garris is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kimbo Slice dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Rex Garris's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Slice changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Slice throws a lazy right hand but Garris sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Garris with a lazy takedown attempt and Slice counters with a stiff right hand. Slice moves in looking to clinch but Garris pushes him off. Garris clinches up with Slice and pushes him back against the cage. Slice tries to circle away but Garris has him pinned against the cage. Garris scores with a shot to the side of Slice's head. Garris landing knees to the head.
Slice pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Slice lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Garris backs up against the cage.
Slice lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Garris closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Garris pulls guard. Slice cracks Garris with a solid left hand. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Garris has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Slice doesn't defend quickly enough and Garris has managed to lock this one up! Can Slice escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Garris on a fantastic submission victory.
