Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between ian wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurban Musaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Musaev misses with a takedown attempt - wright sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
No luck for Musaev with that takedown attempt.
wright leaves Musaev with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
ian wright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kurban Musaev.
Musaev closes this distance looking for a takedown but wright circles away.
Musaev throws a combination. wright tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
wright gets caught flat footed, as Musaev shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

wright wants to control from the top but Musaev keeps moving.

wright drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Musaev manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now wright has Musaev in his guard.

wright had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Musaev defends it easily.

and wright counters with a shoot takedown. Musaev fights it but they end up in guard.

Musaev manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. wright manages to get himself to full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Musaev got a little sloppy there for a moment and wright has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Musaev has managed to get both his arms back between wright's legs - danger averted.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

wright thuds his right hand into Musaev's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
wright could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
wright ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
ian wright is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Musaev looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
wright gets back to full guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for wright, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
