Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shane Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Cowelll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mason comes to the cage accompanied by Senses Fail - Shark Attack. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Cowelll lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mason backs up against the cage.
Cowelll lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Oh Mason is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cowelll has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Cowelll might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Cowelll throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Mason stumbling backwards into the cage! Mason bounces back off the cage towards Cowelll, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Cowelll lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Cowelll celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
