Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Jnr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Proto Type (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, George Jnr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Proto Type! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Type has a takedown stuffed. Excellent takedown into side control there by Type. Jnr tries to bench press Type off him but Type keeps the position. Type working the body and head with strikes. Jnr is trying to get back to his feet. Jnr is looking to reverse the position. Type with the ground and pound but Jnr regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Jnr keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Jnr is trying is best to control the position here. Type throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Type working Jnr over with strikes. Type missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Type sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jnr defending well though. Jnr trying to control from the bottom.
Jnr wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jnr has one foot on Type's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Jnr connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Jnr fails to land the takedown. Jnr tries to bum rush Type with a series of wild strikes but Type uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jnr is breathing heavily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Type scoring with strikes to the body and head. Type lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Type working over Jnr with some ground and pound. Jnr looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Type stops Jnr from getting back to his feet.

Type is nestled in close to Jnr, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jnr on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Type lands strikes from half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Type thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Type is thwarting Jnr's attempts to control the position. Type winds up and cracks Jnr with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Jnr wants to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Type connects with a nice short shot to Jnr's temple. Jnr is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Type looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Type working Jnr over with strikes. Type is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Type winds up and cracks Jnr with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Proto Type dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Jnr throws a series of punches but Type avoids them all with ease. Jnr fails in his attempt to clinch. Jnr shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Type defends it nicely. Type on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Jnr misses with a wild body shot. Type with a poor takedown and Type takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jnr slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Type shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jnr as he avoids it easily. Jnr connects with a nice looking jab.
Type shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Type throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jnr on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Type drops an elbow to the side of Jnr's head. Jnr is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Type scores with a couple of nice shots. Jnr is looking to control Type's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jnr avoid being mounted? Type lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Type working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Type working the head and body with strikes. Proto Type has got the better of the ground game so far. Jnr avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Type. Type not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Type throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Jnr pushes Type off looking to stand but Type dives back in and keeps control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Type drives through with a takedown into guard. Type is looking to work some ground and pound but Jnr has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Type loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Type throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Type lands a couple of elbows. Jnr working a defensive guard here.
Jnr wants to stand and escape but Type is having none of it. Type working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Type content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jnr throws a one two combo.
Type ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Type shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jnr as he jumps to the side. George Jnr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Proto Type. Type lunges at Jnr with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jnr's hand. A combination from Jnr does no damage. Jnr tries to clinch up but Type circles away and keeps his distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Jnr. No joy for Type on that attempt. Jnr drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Type can do anything to dispel that myth. Jnr sitting in guard here, content to control. Jnr is looking to stand up but Type won't let him. Jnr trying to control the position from guard on top but Type is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Type is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Type lands a nice short elbow. Type lands with a punch from half guard. Type thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Jnr to regain full guard. Jnr is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jnr preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Type in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jnr is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Type is controlling him. Type keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jnr's head. Type trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Type closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Type lands in his opponent's guard. Jnr is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jnr trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Type working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Proto Type showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Type looks to land a combination. Jnr sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Type drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jnr managing to control the position. Type trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Type has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jnr working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Type. Type in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jnr is looking to stand up but Type isn't so interested in that idea. Type throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jnr works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Type lands a couple of digs. Type postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice straight punches there by Jnr. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jnr.
That's one minute gone in the round. Type shoots in for a takedown but Jnr shows good takedown defense. Type misses with a hook. Jnr ducked under it nicely. Type takes a shot right to the bread basket. Type fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Type throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Jnr counter with a right hand. Jnr paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Jnr throws a nice looking combination but Type bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jnr misses with a hook. Type ducked under it nicely. Type closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Type lands in his opponent's guard. Type postures up in Jnr's guard and throws a big left but Jnr blocks it. Jnr trying to control the position.
Type postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jnr is looking to stand up but Type isn't so interested in that idea. Proto Type is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Type slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Type trying to control but Jnr is working from the bottom. Type won't allow Jnr to get back to his feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Type fails with a takedown attempt. George Jnr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Proto Type. Jnr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jnr fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Type drives through with a takedown into guard. Type looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Jnr wants to stand but Type is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Type controls from within his opponent's guard. Jnr is looking to stand up but Type isn't so interested in that idea. Type is stalling in the full guard. George Jnr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Proto Type. Type shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jnr sprawls well. Jnr wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Type gets slowly back to his feet. Jnr looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A swing and a miss from Jnr.
And that's the end of the fight! Proto Type comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Type winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
