Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kenshin Himura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aunaki Akira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenshin Himura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aunaki Akira! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akira avoids a punch combination nicely.

Akira tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Himura swivels and escapes. A combination from Himura does no damage. Himura misses with the combination.

Himura throws a right and a left that both miss. Himura looks to land a combination but Akira avoids it well. A combination from Himura does no damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Akira avoids a punch combination nicely.

Akira gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Akira gets a takedown into half guard. Akira moves nicely into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Akira takes a little break here. Himura wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Akira stands up and beckons Himura to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Himura throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Himura will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Akira throws a head kick that misses. Himura looks to land a combination but Akira avoids it well. Akira lands a head kick. Himura smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Akira lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Akira clinches with his opponent.

Akira breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Akira shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Akira sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Himura knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Akira on the ground. That's four minutes gone in the round. Akira thowing shots but they're missing. Akira controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aunaki Akira dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Himura rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Akira moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Himura gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Himura is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Akira throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Akira drops back looking for a leg! Himura is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Himura manages to kick Akira off! Akira jumps back into Himura's guard. Akira gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Himura throws a series of punches but Akira avoids them all with ease. Kenshin Himura is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Himura throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Akira.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Himura misses with a two punch combination.
Himura tries to keep at a distance but Akira has taken the fight into the clinch. Akira stalling in the clinch.
Akira has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Himura clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Akira just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Akira is looking for the choke from the back position but Himura is controlling his hands well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Akira wants to control but Himura manages to buck him off and is now in Akira's guard! Nice work there by Himura! Akira wants to get back to his feet but Himura is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Akira tries to land a sweep but no joy. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Akira is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Akira wants to control from the top but Himura keeps moving. Akira in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Akira trying to control the position from guard on top but Himura is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Himura is working an open guard so Akira takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aunaki Akira showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Himura throws a nice looking combination but Akira bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Himura throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A punch combination from Himura misses. Akira shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Himura napping and manages to drive through into side control! Akira looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Akira controlling the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Akira working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Akira tries to advance to mount but Himura denies him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Akira landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Akira decides to take the fight back to the feet. Himura throws a right hand that Akira ducks under and follows up with a left that Akira also avoids with ease. Himura throws a right and a left that both miss. Himura throws a series of punches but Akira moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Akira drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Akira throwing strikes but missing. Akira throwing strikes from guard but Himura blocks nicely. Akira throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Himura works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Akira postures up in Himura's guard and throws a big left but Himura blocks it. Himura wants to get back to his feet but Akira is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Akira throws a big right hand that misses. Kenshin Himura has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Himura can't keep his opponent in guard - Akira advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Aunaki Akira is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Akira sitting and controlling from the half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Aunaki Akira comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Akira has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
